In 2002, we installed a new ESAB Avenger 2 burning machine.  This is a large, heavy duty gantry style burning machine capable of precise positioning accuracy.  We outfitted our machine with a standard plasma burning head, and a state-of-the-art programmable rotating plasma bevel head.  The bevel head can burn and bevel plate up to 1 1/4" thick.  The bevel angle is set in the CNC software at the time the part is programmed and nested by our Drafting staff.  The bevel angle can be changed along the part (if required) and the bevel can follow a simple or complex cut path.  Essentially, any shape that we can program can be beveled.  We are using specially designed software provided by the Sigmatek Corporation, which allows us to perform the beveling and to also nest the parts for optimum cutting efficiency.  Please email or call our sales staff to see what we can do for you!!  We were honored to receive our ISO 9002 certification in October, 1998 from the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).  To our knowledge, we were the first "true" flame cutting company to receive an ISO 9002 certification.  There are large national steel service centers that operate a few burning tables as a sideline to their core business and are ISO 9002 certified, but we think we are the first flame cutting company to achieve this valued award.  In October, 2001, we achieved another milestone - we made the transition from ISO 9002 to ISO 9001:2000.  We are extremely proud that our Company passed this tough audit conducted by ABS with no findings - meaning that ABS found no nonconformances (problems)  in our Quality System that required correcting before our revised certificate could be issued.  In September, 2004, we just completed a major audit with ABS and were recertified to ISO 9000:2000. We have recently been selected or are in negotiations with several large companies to be their single source supplier for all their steel plate, flame cutting, plasma cutting, and value added services.  These companies are well known, large quality oriented organizations.  We were chosen because of our quality, reputation, integrity, and because of the professional way in which we conduct our business.Within the last several years, we completed updating our other eight oxyfuel burning machines to make them function as accurately as possible.  The upgrading consisted of installing state-of-the-art  ESAB Vision 3000 CNC controllers, rack and pinion drive systems, new drive motors, grinding and realignment of all rail systems, new bearings, reworking torches, etc.  We can handle up to 20 feet wide by 40+ feet long on our largest burning table with unparalleled accuracy.  The Vision 3000 controllers offer the viewing of the real time cutting path, parts nesting, etc.
